The Rich Man | Mark 10:17-31

This week we had a bit of technical issue this Sunday, so our edited video skips the usual introduction and begins with a cheer and straight into a video on the Book of Mark.

Today is an all age service, children included this last Sunday before the start of the school term, so things may be a little noisy than usual!

But importantly for this week as we look at the story of the rich man, and we are surrounded by our children - we are reminded that the ability to buy and sell gives us but an illusion of power.

The invitation here is that God sees us as the child created in his image and that is how we come to Jesus. Not with power and control, but with humility.

Mark 10:17-31

Prayers & Psalms

Each Sunday, prior to the sermon we have created a space for more voices from our community; One of our children read a Psalm from ‘Psalms for Young Children’ by Marie-Hélène Delval.

Followed by a prayer, shared by a member of our congregation, focused around what's happening in the world, our country and our community. We have included these on our Prayers Page for you to revisit and reflect on the words that they shared.
